Cody’s 2011 Copper Basin
In January 2011, Cody ran the Copper Basin 300. This race started in Paxson, AK and ran through Chistochina, Glenallen, Tolsona Lake Lodge, Wolverene Lodge, Sourdough Campground, Meiers Lake Lodge, and back to Paxson Lodge. Roughly 300 miles of mountain, lake and river travel. 54 mushers started the race and Cody finished in 28th place under a sky of northern lights. Not bad for his first 300 mile race.
