We are not signed up for the Yukon Quest this year

We are not signed up for the Yukon Quest this year, but we keep training like we are. We put in some trail today that rivals Rosebud and Eagle Summits. Steep, rocky and the views were alright!

Winter is here on the Denali Highway and many peop

Winter is here on the Denali Highway and many people are out recreating. Just a friendly reminder to be safe and respectful to other users when out enjoying this awesome place. Skiers, bikers, dog teams and snowmachines can all have fun and get along if we are all aware of our surroundings and traveling at a safe speed. Don't be a newspaper headline, instead be a happy traveller. :)

We took 4 small race teams out for some epic mount

We took 4 small race teams out for some epic mountain runs yesterday! Water crossings, steep climbs, trail breaking and over 20 moose along the trail.. the dogs did amazing. Then the retired team with Draco doing his second run and Boron as the free leader. What a fun day with the dogs!

We have been remiss in introducing our new pack me

We have been remiss in introducing our new pack member, Draco! With no planned puppies this summer, our friend and fellow dog musher, Jody Potts, allowed us to care for her litter of pups at our Cantwell tour this summer. We never met a puppy we didn’t like and when we became super attached to this guy, Jody kindly agreed we could keep him. He is such a joy and we love him so much! Thanks again Jody!

The dogs heard that cold plunges are all the rage these days so they took us to the nearest creek to break some ice and try it out. They seemed pretty happy. Some were even lying down.
