Sponsoring Team Squid

Our kennel budget is set up so that we can maintain our dogs and healthy kennel operations from our summer income. However, racing adds a large amount of additional expenses which is helped with support through sponsorship. Sponsorship can be as simple as sponsoring a dog or a more complex business sponsor relationship. We realize that money is tight. There are other ways to support Team Squid. It can be as easy as lending the use of snowmachine to break trail, helping do some sewing of dog coats, making necklines, you name it. If you’d like to support Team Squid in a different way, contact us. It is all super helpful to the success of the team! The more time we can spend with the dogs, the more successful we will be.

Dog Sponsorship

This type of sponsorship allows fans to pick one of the dogs in the kennel as their own for the season. The money helps to cover race expenses and kennel operations. Dog sponsors will receive Squid Acres gear as a token of our appreciation (gift may change annually). Many fans choose to sponsor the same dog year after year and watch their progression. The different sponsorship levels have different perks that come with them. To sponsor a dog, simply browse the dogs on our dog page. Choose the dog you’d like to sponsor and push the sponsor button directly below that group of dogs. This link will take you directly to Paypal. Make sure to out the form completely with the desired dog you’d like to sponsor and your mailing address so we can get you your gifts (gifts usually sent out after race season is completed).

Sponsorship Level Breakdown:

$100 Level: This sponsorship level includes Retired Dogs, Puppies, and Yearlings. They are all important parts of the team, however these dogs will not be seen in the races this coming year due to them either being to young or to old to race. Those that sponsor at the $100 level will receive a custom Squid Acres calendar filled with awesome photos of the past season of mushing.

$250 Level: This sponsorship level includes the Young Guns, Team Dogs, and Up & Coming Leaders. Some amazing athletes are in this group and most are likely to make the race teams. Sponsors at this level will receive a Calendar and other Squid Goodies.

$500 Level: This sponsorship level includes our main leaders. The dogs that have gone some miles with us and saved our rears in races and on stormy expeditions. They are the dogs with lots of race experience and have quite the resume. This does not mean they will make the teams this year, but they have earned this status. Sponsors at this level will receive a calendar and other Squid goodies.

Business Sponsorship of Team Squid

We also are looking to partner with business sponsors for this coming race season.  We accept in-kind and monetary donations from business sponsors. We like to thank our business sponsors by helping them reach a larger market. We do this through social media and brand exposure on our vehicles, sleds, and race clothing. We are also open to helping businesses by doing speaking engagements, photo shoots, sled rides, VIP trips… really the options are endless. We love to help businesses out that help us, so contact us to see how we can partner up with your business.
